About Marc McGurren

Marc McGurren joined PCG’s consulting division as a partner in January 2012. He was formerly the Internet Director for the Jerry Durant Auto Group located in Weatherford, TX. He is a graduate of Angelo State University (BBA, 2001), Dallas Theological Seminary (MA/BS, 2003), and the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy (2010).

Marc is happily married to the love of his life, Amber McGurren, and resides in Fort Worth, TX with their #mcgoozoo.  They have been blessed with three amazing children who are all actively involved with a wide variety of extracurricular activities.  As one could imagine, Marc and Amber’s life is at times a chauffeur service for their kiddos.  Included in their #mcgoozoo are four dogs: Newman, Utah, Hollywood, and Mac;  two turtles:  Johnny and Sunshine; and approximately 16 fish that they can’t tell which one is which, so they have no names!

When Marc and Amber have some free time to themselves, they love working out at their nearest Orange Theory Fitness facility, lacing up their sneakers and taking a run (they both ran the New York Marathon in 2013 and countless half-marathons), or going to watch any live music near them.

Marc is a True Blue Dallas Cowboys fan, and on any given Sunday, you will find him geared up with his Cowboys apparel cheering on his Boys! 

During his time working in dealerships, Marc was featured on the cover of WardsAuto Dealer Business Magazine for his strategies on being one of the top General Motors Internet dealerships in the country. He is a regular contributor and former community editor for Drivingsales.com, and a speaker at multiple automotive conferences including the Digital Dealer Workshops, AutoCon, Driving Sales Executive Summit, and the Digital Marketing Strategies Conference.

With more than 7 years of automotive experience, he has held positions that range from Salesperson, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, General Manager, Assistant Service and Parts Director, as well as Internet Director. His passion and desire to execute digital marketing strategies is contagious and his track record of “you can’t fix what you don’t know” helped his former employer have their best year ever and sell over almost 11,000 vehicles in 2011.

Now as a partner with PCG, he has helped dealerships all across the country do the same—sell more cars through PCG’s proven processes, training, and best practices.
