Challenge
Vets-Cars came to PCG with a unique goal: to connect military personnel with car dealerships that offer exclusive programs those who have served in the armed forces.
Taking this vision, PCG created a multi-faceted strategy to get the Vets-Cars program in front of both military members and car dealerships.
Strategy
PCG’s first task was to redesign Vets-Cars’ website to reach more potential customers, increase visibility and strengthen branding to the military population and car dealerships.
The new website:
- Is optimized for both national and local search phrases
- Utilizes visitor data, providing insight into which geographic areas users are searching for military car incentives
- Uses goal and event tracking to give a better understanding of how visitors are navigating on site
- Is mobile responsive
Additionally, new website analytics provide dealers data showing local search results and website traffic as a result of their Vets-Cars membership.
Results
Just one month after completion, Vets-Cars’ new website saw an increase in both year-over-year traffic and search results.
Vets-Cars can now be found on Page One for national search terms, including: military discount on cars, military discount cars and car dealerships with military discounts. Vets-Cars’ dealerships are also now on Page One for various local search phrases.
